Poop Perfection!

It's day 16 of the 30 day challenge and I want to talk about poop. If it's TMI, feel free to scroll down to today's recipe.

My digestive track is very happy these days. I've suffered from undiagnosed extreme digestive discomfort in the past and it's no fun. When I have a good level 4 poop (as explained by Dr. Oz), I am a happy camper.

As I'm consuming all of this green goodness everyday, I am grateful that my bowels are functioning well.

With that said, I am even more motivated to drink my green smoothies. However, it's very important to drink lots of water during the day. This weekend, my water consumption dropped and I didn't go. Last night I drank a few cups of water and suddenly, things started moving again.

Ahhh. Poop perfection.

Now, on to today's drink...
2 c organic baby spinach
1/2 frozen banana
Handful frozen organic blueberries
1/2 beet (yes the beet is back!)
1 serving Amazing Grass Organic Wheat Grass
1 tsp Maca powder
1 serving Stevia Kal
1/2 c Synergy Mystic Mango Kombucha
1/2 c carrot juice

Cheers!

What the heck? Kombucha. Yea...

Day 2 of 30
Happy Labor Day!
I had a great weekend full of good food and yummy cocktails! Today I HAD to go to the gym so I could sweat out all those toxins. Shout out to Unite Fitness for facilitating some of the hardest workouts I've experienced in a long time.

On to today's detoxifying green smoothie recipe...

2 dinosaur kale leaves
2 celery stalks
2 tbsp hemp seeds
1/2 frozen banana
1 tsp raw organic honey
1/2 c unsweetened vanilla almond milk

Today I added Kombucha to the DoD to help combat those weekend toxins and to help my belly bloat.

Benefits of Kombucha
The ancient Chinese refer to Kombucha as the "Immortal Health Elixer." Sounds intriguing, right? There are plenty of benefits to drinking this fizzy beverage. Not only does it taste yummy, it helps with:

1. DETOXIFICATION
Kombucha is rich in many enzymes and bacterial acids your body needs to detox your system thus easing the burden on your liver to do all the work.

2. AIDS DIGESTION AND GUT HEALTH
You may have heard this, but Kombucha is a probiotic beverage. It's naturally fermented with a living colony of bacteria and yeast. This means it great for improving digestion, mental clarity and mood stability.

3. IMMUNE BOOSTING
Kombucha contains tons of antioxidants which boost your immune system and your energy levels.

After a weekend of "over doing it", Kombucha is the perfect addition to today's DoD.
Cheers!
