Give the Gift of Granola

‘Tis the season for giving and a gift from the heart is always the most appreciated. As we all know, the kitchen is considered to be the heart of the home so how about baking a few batches of homemade love and turning them into thoughtful treats for the holidays?! You know you’ve been looking for an excuse to try some new recipes so this could be the perfect one! This is a great hostess gift or even perfect for your coworkers. It is a fantastic way to show off your skills while gifting something healthy (instead of a box of cookies or chocolates). Your gift recipients will think you are just so clever! It is also a great way to gift on a budget.
Here are the links various granola recipes posted I’ve posted recently. Pick your fancy or make more than one to mix it up! Most of these recipes have nuts so just be sure to check for any allergies before gifting.
For Maple Nut Granola, follow the recipe for Pumpkin Granola, just leave out the pumpkin!
A great way to package granola is in some mason jars with ribbon or raffia. You can find mason jars at most Whole Foods stores, some hardware stores or online. Here is a link on Amazon – mason jars and on Ace Hardware – mason jars.
