As we head into the Thanksgiving holiday and the end of 2013, where are you focusing your thoughts and efforts? Are you focused on your lack of finances to cover your holiday expenses? Are you focused on the holiday weight gain that is sure to come between now and December 31st?
Or are you focused on wellness and financial freedom? Are you focused on abundance, joy and happiness?
I asked myself that question this morning and over the past few days, I realized I had been focused on lack and weight gain. Why? I didn't do a great job saving for this holiday as I had in the past and I'm still carrying around the extra pounds I had when I started 2013. Boo hoo. Whoa is me.
Pity party time, right?
Absolutely NOT!
I decided this morning, to change my mindset.
I can't change what has already happened, but I sure can change my thoughts around what is to come! Rather than focus on what I did wrong over the past 11 months, I am deciding to get ready for the coming year. My inspiration to make this change came in the form of a birthday gift from a good friend.
She saw I was struggling with the turning the big 4-0 and she gifted me with this book by Joel Osteen. I've only read the first declaration, but I feel 1000% better already.
This morning, I decided that I'm not going to wait until January 1st to figure out what I what to accomplish. I already know 2014 will be a HUGE year for me and I want to walk into it fully prepared and ready to take it on fabulously!
Cheers!

I heard T.D. Jakes say that success is always intentional. It sounds like you're intending to have a successful 2014 and beyond! Go get 'em!
